Public meetings to be held on recycling

Councillor John Tanner, Executive Board Member Cleaner Greener Oxford, is holding two public meetings on The Future of Recycling in Oxford.

The meetings will consist of a presentation about the developments in the way we recycle and collect waste in Oxford followed by a discussion of the issues. There will also be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions.

The public meeting will be held on:

Thursday 20 November – 6.30pm to 8.00pm at St Gregory the Great RC School, Cricket Road, Oxford

Monday 24 November – 6.30pm to 8.00pm at The Long Room, Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate’s, Oxford

Councillor John Tanner, Executive Board Member Cleaner Greener Oxford says, “Everyone with an interest in rubbish and recycling will be welcome. We want to know what people think. The City Council is proposing to streamline the way we collect Oxford’s waste and we want to get make sure we get it right.”
